ORIGINAL lino print - 'Newt Love #2'
A little window into the life of a Peak District pond, newts courting, tadpoles wriggling, & skaters skimming the surface. Last year's reeds shelter a frog and new spears soar skyward. Blossom petals from an overhanging crab apple tree float gently down and sail away. I could have sat and watched this little world all day.
This is an original lino cut print (limited edition of 45 in this colour). Printed from a hand-cut lino "plate" in leaf green with oil-based but water washable inks onto good quality printing paper. The printed area is approximately 20cm in diameter, the paper measures approximately 29x29cm. These items are hand-printed and so vary slightly depending on ink density, character of the paper, pressure of the press and the way the wind blows (ok, maybe not the last bit).
To keep postage low I am offering this print without a frame or mount. If however you would like it mounted please do get in touch.
This print will be carefully packed, re-using materials where possible and posted First Class Signed For for UK destinations. Overseas buyers, the quoted fee is for a standard service.
Please note copyright remains with the artist, Alison Deegan 2011.
