Full description
One of my passions is old, classic, veteran and vintage motor cycles. This is my version of a vintage sized sparking plug, but one with a difference. Pull off the 'threaded' portion and it reveals a USB connector. Hidden within is a 4GB memory stick, jump drive, flash drive, flash disc or memory key. It's made from English yew.
I do favour a finish that allows the ‘woodiness’ of the material to show through rather than a glossy varnish, and most of what I have on sale feature an oil and hard wax finish.
Superstitious?
…then with a wooden memory stick, you can always ‘Touch Wood’!
Not strictly jewellery I know, but this jump drive deserves to be shown off. It has 4 Gigabytes of memory. I'm told 4 GB will accept anything between 1000 and 4000 photographs depending on quality settings. Or 1000 MP3s at 128 kB/s.
The memory stick measures about 3.5" x 1 1/8" dia and is fitted with a fabric lanyard. The tins and real spark plugs in the photographs are, of course, not included.
