Out in the meadow, grazing on the Spring flowers is Viotet, resplendent in her beautiful curly hand dyed Wensleydale coat, and standing on a pale green woolly grass tussock.
Needlefelted from natural Merino wool, with the Wensleydale curls on top, Violet makes a great ornament and an even better pincushion.
Approx 3.5 "/9cm tall and 4"/10cm long.
Needelefelting is a labour intensive process using a barbed needle to mesh the fibres together to form a soft, but solid sculpure. Nothing is repeated making every item I make completely unique.
