This set of 5 original Art Deco Menu cards is a wonderful find.
The gold embossed and cut out graphics are so reminiscent of the era. They have a lovely hammered border to three sides, and are able to stand on a table with a hinged flap to the back.
They do have aging but I think this adds to their appeal.... you could distress them further for a gorgeous shabby chic look.
There are some many ways to use them, as intended as menu card... but could also be used for displaying prices or items, turned into unusual gift tags or pockets, wrap vintage lace or ribbon round them... or incorporate in your vintage paper ephemera, altered art or scrap booking projects.
They measure 15 x 8 cms. and come from a smoke free home.
