The covers of these notebooks are pages of a discarded copy of a 1970s map of Central Europe.
The inside pages of these notebooks are of lined paper which was rescued from unwanted school jotters. The lines are of the kind that children use to learn to write. Each notebook has 16 pages (32 sides) of this paper. They are hand sewn with a sturdy paper thread.
Each notebook measures approximately 14cm (5.5in) x 20 cm (8in).
The covers of these notebooks each feature the area around one of the main European cities – Vienna (Wien on the map), Venice (Venezia) and Florence (Firenze – this is on the back cover of the notebook with Ancona on the front).
These journals can be used for all sorts of notes and lists. They would be fantastic for practising calligraphy. Or dream about a trip to Europe and start to jot down your plans inside!!!
