Full description

Ash wooden bowl, hand turned. This bowl has been turned across the grain of the wood. Part of the top edge of the bowl follows the line of the bark of the timber giving an attractive wavy edge with the bark still on the wood. There is also some moss still attached to the bark. The piece of timber used came from a fork in the tree giving an attractive pattern running through the centre of the bowl. It has been finished with Danish Oil and polished with a bees wax polish made from our own hives. All our timber is from a local wood here in Cornwall.
