Full description
Set of three brown and blue wheel thrown ceramic bowls. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
I created this set of three bowls by hand throwing them on a potters wheel from durable white stoneware clay. I wanted to produce a set of gently tapering functional yet decorative bowls for using everyday.
A thinner coating of my favourite glaze 'Autumn Shades' gives a warm brown umber colour with vibrant blue sky accents. Gentle throwing rings remain where my hands have pulled the clay upwards giving both a textural and visual detail where the glaze has gathered.
The inside of each bowl has been glazed in white making them easier to clean. These would make a great gift for the foodie in your life who loves unusual and unique kitchenware.
Each bowl has a flat bottom to sit flush on your kitchen counter and I've hand stamped it with the Little Wren Pottery seal showing its origin as a piece of handmade ceramics.
These pieces can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Bowl one has a diameter of 5.4 inches (13.2 cm) and 2.8 inches (6.2 cm) in height.
- Bowl two has a diameter of 5.4 inches (13.2 cm) and 2.6 inches (6 cm) in height.
- Bowl three has a diameter of 5.12 inches (14.5 cm) and 2.6 inches (6 cm) in height.
It has been created in a smoke free, pet free home.
