Contemporary tea light lantern/holder.
Handmade in fine stoneware clay with a delicate waxy white glaze
Approximately 12 cm circle with 9 cm diameter base
Each one made by myself using a 'slabbing' technique which I then stamp and cut out the shapes in the pattern I feel works best. After a little tidy up and a while for drying they are painted with multiple coats of glaze and then fired
Looks lovely in a bedroom, on the coffee table, in the dining room, in the garden, anywhere really. Wherever you'd want a candle this lantern makes a beautiful, practical and elegant addition to any room and an stunning and unusual gift
Comes with little rubber stoppers attached to base to prevent scratching or slipping on surfaces.
Lanterns have been fired to stoneware temperatures so are frost-proof and can be kept outside all year round
Comes with one complimentary tea light
I tend to make in series of groups of lanterns by their pattern and colour so although there can be some repetition, as each one is made entirely by hand with slight minor differences you can be sure you are getting a unique piece of functional art.
