Full description
This necklace is made with one of the most beautiful stones I've ever worked with. The stone is AA grade natural Turkish chalcedony (undyed, which is very rare for chalcedony!). It has has been wrapped in sterling silver wire, and then oxidised and then carefully polished by hand to bring out some silvery highlights. The pendant is suspended from a very fine 18 inch (46cm) chain.
The colouring is a very pale milky lavender blue, and the microfaceted basket cut of the stone really helps to hold the light. The moonlike glow of the stone contrasts so well against the dark oxidised silver - a hauntingly beautiful piece of jewellery. Perfect for the winter months ahead!
Natural chalcedony briolette measures approximately 12mm x 10.5mm
All silver used is sterling silver and closure is with a pretty handmade hook and eye clasp. Necklace chain length can be adjusted, just ask!
Please note that while the necklace pictured is not the one you will receive, it has been made in precisely the same manner and is very near to identical.
