Once someone's labour of love, this home-made sewing box has a real homespun charm!
Hand painted in a cream eggshell and a chalky pink emulsion, distressed and then appliqued with Cath Kidston wallpaper both inside and out, it has a small sectioned pull out lower drawer with the original brass handle, as well as good deep storage inside the lift up lid.
The lid itself has a clear square perspex cover to the outer surface, attached by four metal retainers at each corner. This protects a further decoupage of the floral wallpaper.
This really is very pretty and would look lovely anywhere in the home and would suit itself to many storage purposes, as well as simply for knitting and sewing!
