Luna is a dreamy Snail who likes to go out at dusk and play with the Fairy Mice as they dance around the toadstools.
Luna is made entirely from polymer clay, apart from her black onyx eyes and flower stamen feelers. She is about 6.5cm long and 3cm high. Her shell is made from metallic blue clay decorated with glow-in-the-dark stars and a crescent moon. It has been finished with two coats of gloss varnish.
Luna has been signed with an artist's mark - a slice of my unique 'QC' monogram cane. She comes in a smart presentation box with a signed certificate, and will be sent by first class recorded delivery post within the UK.
Mike Oakes, a talented photographer, was moved to poetry when he first saw Luna.
Luna, dear Luna, oh how she doth dream,
Yon Fairy Mice with her oft are seen.
Round toadstools dancing, quick, quick, slow
Lifting the darkness with her mysterious glow
You can see Mike's wonderful photography here - www.michaeljoakes.com.
