The Victorian butterfly case greetings Card.
Made from 100% white grass flecked recycled card and brown recycled envelope.
Butterflies cut from old book pages. Stitched into place with brown thread, each butterfly is numbered.
Biodegradable corn starch packaging to compost or recycle.
Size 12.5cms by 12.5cms. Blank inside.
Please note due to the vintage nature of the book paper each card is unique and will look slightly different to the card in the photograph.
This card is inspired by my love of Albertus Seba, an apothecary who collected natural specimans, categorized them, and stored them in glass display cases. This card represents the Tortoiseshell butterfly (Aglais urticae).
