ENGLISH LANGUAGE : 50 Pence coin pendant
This pendant was made using a rare, limited edition UK Fifty Pence coin
celebrating the 250th Anniversary of Samuel Johnson's Dictionary of the English
Language.
Entries from the Dictionary for the words FIFTY and PENCE, with the figure 50
above, and the inscription JOHNSON'S DICTIONARY 1755 below.
Since their introduction in 1969, British 50 Pence coins have been made of a
copper/nickel alloy.
The coin is mounted in a Silver plated bail and includes a silver plated chain
of about 18" (45cm). Please let me now if you prefer a longer or shorter chain
and I'll make it for no additional cost -up to 4" (10cm) longer.
GREAT PRESENT THAT WILL BE GIFT BOXED in a beautiful handmade cushion box from
eco-friendly reused cardboard.
