Full description
Stained, leaded glass. All hand made, using traditional tools. Measures 27cm across.
The dark circle, which proved difficult to photograph well, is cut from very dark, purplish-midnight blue glass. A very dense colour, a bit like an old Vics bottle, if you are old enough to recall these. In some light, this circle appears almost black, opaque. With strong sunlight behind it, the rich, swirly colour stands out. The lettering below was etched onto the clear glass using the not so old fashioned hydrofluoric acid.
