The inspiration for this lovely beaded necklace came from Native American tradition.
I made a variation of this necklace for myself from a little peyote butterfly pattern which I had designed. A lot of people have said that they liked it so I decided to make one for sale. The necklace itself measures 26" and I have used right angle weave beadwork. It is very long and can easily be slipped over the head. The peyote butterfly is nearly 2" wide and measures 4" from top to bottom. This would be a beautiful addition to your Pow pow regalia or if butterfly is your totem.
In Native American tradition butterfly represents change, transformation and is ruled by the element of air.
