A pair of earrings made from fossilised shells encased in resin.

These earrings feature fossilised shells found by me at Barton-on-Sea, Hampshire. I dug them from the clay cliffs and carefully cleaned them before encasing them in clear epoxy resin ovals. These fossilised shells are similar in shape to modern ones but are more textured when you look at them closely. They are approximately 40 million years old!. The earwires are made from sterling silver wire. The drop of the earrings is approximately 3.5cm (1 1/2").

This is a one-of-a-kind (OOAK) pair of earrings as no two shells are identical. Your earrings will come to you in a handmade gift box as shown in the last picture. It will also come with a little card telling you a little about the fossils inside.
