Full description
A large button has been carefully decoupaged with a quirky Magpie image which has then been inked to give that beautiful vintage look. This image has then been sealed under layers of varnish giving the attractive finish typical of more traditional forms of decoupage. The lovely button has then been formed into a brooch by the application of a closeable pin backing.
Measuring a generous 4cm in diameter these unusual pieces of jewellery are on trend with that shabby vintage vibe and look great on tops, dresses and coats as well as pinned to fabric handbags or totes.
Water-resistant rather than waterproof all brooches should be removed before washing the garment they adorn.
