With each vintage item being original and individually sourced no two clocks are exactly alike, each having its own character and story to tell....evoke feelings of times past and treasured places!
Nostalgic Vintage Book Clock
This is a vintage Cassells National Library edition of 'Anecdotes of Samuel Johnson', hardback book having a new lease of life as a wall clock. Gold coloured hands. Wonderfully nostalgic!
Cassell's National Library was a series issued by Cassell, Petter, Galpin & Co. in London consisting of edited versions of English literature. The series was edited by Henry Morley, and between 1886 and 1890 it issued 209 weekly volumes. These were sold for 3d (paperback) or 6d (hardback).
Due to the nature of using reclaimed materials , each clock will be unique.
It has a quartz clock movement which requires an AA battery (not included), and has a built in hanger. Gold coloured hands.
