Full description
This candle is poured into a vintage cup and saucer produced from the prolific Royal Albert pottery, who have a long history and have produced some very collectable porcelain.
This design is called "Trillium" and is one of their most sought after, commanding high prices from collectors. The cup and saucer is in excess of 40 years old, and a gorgeous bountiful green floral pattern.
The cup itself measures 7cm in height, and 7cm in diameter across the top, while the saucer has a diameter of 12cm.
The candle is 100% pure EcoSoya wax, which comes from a fully sustainable resource, is biodegradable, and burns cleanly with no soot or smoke.
The wax has been left in it’s natural colour of light ivory, and has a beautiful silky and creamy appearance. The candle can be fragranced with your choice of scent : rose, lavender, sweet pea, jasmine, mandarin & mimosa, bergamot, apple, raspberry or vanilla. A further benefit of using EcoSoya wax is that any spills can be cleaned easily with hot soapy water – as can your gorgeous cup and saucer, leaving you with a true collector’s piece of vintage crockery to either display, or to use.
As with any true vintage item, the condition of this cup and saucer reflect their age and usage over the years. We rate the condition of this cup and saucer as “excellent” being in a virtually unused condition.
