This lovely clutch bag/purse has a gorgeous hand embroidered floral motif across the front all worked in silk threads.
There is are lots of pretty flowers - hollyhocks, daisies, echinacea, gypsophilla, delphiniums and grasses all beautifully embroidered.Super fine detail.
A variety of stitches have been used - lazy daisy, fly, long'n'short ,stem ,bullion and french knots too.
Made from a vintage damask furnishing fabric in a lovely soft raspberry colour and is fully lined in a cream damask.
The bag is approx 9" wide x 6" high and fastens with an 'antique gold' coloured magnetic clasp.
Something to enjoy using - great as an evening or wedding bag,perhaps a heirloom in the future.
