Have you ever fancied having a go at bookbinding? Here's your opportunity, but the hardest part has already been done! These blocks are ready to bind, enabling you to create your own beautiful customised Address Books without the need for any specialist equipment or materials.

These Address Book blocks have been thoughtfully designed to provide a perfect block to which you can add your own cases and covers. Whether you use a favourite remnant of fabric or paper, your own original artwork or handcrafted embelished textiles, you will end up with a practical book that reflects your own unique style.

Each block has been printed on sustainably sourced ivory paper and measures a chunky 167 x 130 x 12mm. They have been stitch-bound with thread to give a quality book that is made to last - a very different product to a cheaply produced glued block! These Address Book blocks have been entirely produced in the UK from my initial design right through to the printing, stitching, indexing and trimming.

If you have never bound a book before, you will find there are lots of techniques to play with and plenty of information and ideas to be gleaned from books or on the internet. I am also happy to pop through a few links to you get you started. The last picture is of a finished Address Book, bound in a green linen cover and mounted with a pewter plaque.

Please note that due to the weight of the books and postage costs, it is much more economical to purchase the blocks in sets of 12 or 24.
