Full description
This is an original painting of a sailing boat called 'Walsa' Lass'
'Walsa' Lass' was built in the 1990s by a husband and wife team in Shetland.
Built along the traditional lines of an 1880s Shetland Forereen she has been in our possession for a number of years and is sailed out of Stonehaven. Always a very pretty sight with her traditional standing lug and jib sails. Here she is just trying to catch the breeze as she leaves Stonehaven Harbour.
The painting is executed with Winsor & Newton Acrylics on Strathmore canvas paper in ACEO format.
