Each pair of these is a little different, because they're handmade. You will always receive the pair pictured if you purchase this listing.

These were made in my little one bedroom apartment while my children were asleep. The entire process takes three days because the earrings must be first crafted, then air cured, then fired in a kiln (which I set up in our bathroom at night.) Then I do the cold enamel by hand, and the earrings must then cure for another day. After this, they go to the UK Assay Office to be hallmarked with my own unique maker's mark and the fineness of the metal - they are hallmarked as sterling silver because the posts are sterling, which is more durable and a better material for structural elements.

The fine silver is tarnish resistant, and the plum colored cold enamel is more long lasting than traditional enamel as it is made from a polymer that is less prone to scratching and cracking (but is vulnerable to chemicals like paint stripper and nail polish remover.)

The shipping price does not include any insurance, though I would recommend it. Just let me know that this is what you would like in the Notes to Seller when you check out and I can invoice you for the additional cost.
