Blank pen pot with 16 spaces for buttons to be sewn on around the top of the pot.
I have made this pen pot from earthenware slip. It is cast in a beaker mould I handmade, once it has dried in the mould I take the beaker out and put a few small holes in it to sew the buttons on. Once the pot is fired, glazed and fired again I finally sew the buttons on.....this pot doesn't have buttons which mean that you can sew your own favourite buttons on. It's easy, just like normal sewing.
This pot is glazed in a clear matt glaze which has an off white finish.
The pen pot measures 8cm high and is 6cm in diameter.
