Full description
This is a truly amazing, magical little fairy house, hand crafted by my husband Neil. It is 4" high, 4 3/4" wide at the widest point across the top. and 6 1/4" around the widest part of the trunk. Not forgetting the tiny door to let the fairies in which measures 1". The door has it's own hand crafted tiny, working hinge. This little fairy house really is a beautiful work of art. being worked by hand with no power tools used at all. It has been finished with natural bees wax to further enhance the beauty of the wood. The trunk is made from ancient beech wood, and the top is made from elder wood. The top has been covered with beautifully soft, dark green kid leather, suede side up. The underneath of the roof has been covered with dark maroon kid leather. The leather has been held on with tiny brass tacks. No glues have been used in the making of this fairy house.
Welcoming earth spirits into your life is wonderful, but remember faery folk can be naughty :o) in the nicest possible way of course.
