Full description
This small notebook/ journal has been created using traditional bookbinding methods. I have left the spine exposed, as I think it a shame to hide this particularly attractive feature.
Rather than using traditional linen tape, I have used cream and lilac vintage bias binding. The cover has been made out of beer mats and is covered with a vintage/ retro soft blue and cream cotton fabric. The book can be secured with a thick waxed thread/ cord ( supplied by http://www.folksy.com/shops/MarcadeSupplies) and a vintage laundry button.
The book contains 100 pages, 10 signatures, or 50 folios (folded pages), of assorted recycled or scavenged papers.
Measurements: height 9 cm, width 9 cm and depth 2 cm.
