These ravening beasts have tremendous appetites and can pack lots of goodies in their big, square tummies - including your most secret possessions.
Why not knit up a pack to infest your home - and those of your family and friends!
The ButterflyLove pdf Square-Bellied Monsters knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions and handy hints along the way. You can also choose between two eye styles (googly or beady) and whether to have a poseable mouth.
It only involves knitting flat and this pattern is suitable for a keen beginner/intermediate knitter.

What you will need:
2 knitting needles (US3 or size required to match tension advice)
2 knitting needles (US1)
20-30g yarn for the body
10g red yarn for the mouth
10g pink yarn for the lips
5g white yarn for the eyeballs (optional)
2-3 black toy safety eyes (6, 9 or 18mm)
2 pipe cleaners (optional)
Polyfil
1 tapestry needle for finishing
