Full description
The Pretty Purple Clutch-Book is a dear little clutch-bag made from a vintage hardback edition of Walpole's 'Fortitude' and some beautiful floral print recycled fabric. A concealed magnet and a real penny piece (for luck!) are used for the closure.
This handmade beauty measures approximately 18.5cm x 12.5cm, the base or spine of the book measures around 3.6cm wide. There is a useful little pocket of the same material which is around 10cm x 8cm.
To complete this stylish and highly individual piece I have added a large 1970's vintage button to the closure flap which works beautifully with the retro vibe fabric I love making these pieces and matching fabric and theme can be a great adventure!
