Royal wedding marque 2!
This string is a variation of my 'Royal Wedding mini bunting', with blue polka dot, red checks and beautiful white broderie anglaise, to give a bit of variety and make the day all the more special. All in cottons, there are four flags of each of the three fabrics and the header tape is handmade in white broderie anglaise.
It can, of course, stay up all year round and is the perfect length for the top of your mirrors, bookshelves, picture frames or mantlepiece.
And make sure you bring it out again for the 2012 Olympics!
Sizes and measurements
Each string has 12 flags, each of which is double sided with the same print. The string measures approx 2m 15cm at full stretch, including 40cm of plain tape at each end for easy hanging. That leaves about 1m 35cm of flags. Perfect for a mantlepiece.
The flags have a vertical drop of about 9cm from the top of the header tape to the point. I have included a picture with one of my (ever present) custard creams, to give you an idea of scale!
