Full description
A hand knitted, soft and very warm scarf made of hand dyed wool from Uruguay. It is sourced from a no-profit organisation called Manos which assembled over 400 artisans in cooperatives scattered throughout the countryside of Uruguay. Their aim is to bring economic and social opportunities to rural women. The wool is handspun and dyed over wood fires.
Materials: 100% wool - dark purple, lilac, dark blue, mid blue, cream and pale pink).
Total length: 160cm (has a good amount of stretch).
Width: 11cm
To wear as a cowl:
- Put the loop over your head and twist once for a loose scarf
- Put loop over you head and twist twice for a scarf that fits snuggly around your neck
As a regular scarf:
- Put scarf round your neck and pull one end through the other.
