I have recently made this vintage style picture of a sewing machine for my daughter's birthday as she loves sewing so much and I thought that others might like it? So...if you like it, I can make an exact replica with just one day's notice. I can also personalise it by sewing someone's name on to it. Just email me with a request! The vintage looking sewing machine is appliqued (in linen and corduroy) by machine on to 100% cotton. The fabric under the needle and the heart is a retro Laura Ashley fabric from the 1980s, that once adorned our dining room. I have hand embroidered everything else. It is in a frame that measures 50cms x 50cms and the art is surrounded by a cream card mount, the window measuring 28.5 cms. x 28.5 cms. The frame has a mock wooden and distressed look which is in keeping with the vintage style of the sewing machine. The frame has a glass front of course. If you have any special favourite fabric that you would like me to use, such as your Granny's curtains or a dress that no longer fits please do contact me and I would be happy to adapt this style.
