A newly reupholstered and painted country pine armchair suitable for a traditional or contemporary setting.
This is a country pine armchair which I estimate to be early 20th century, probably Victorian.
The chair has been completely stripped down and reupholstered, including new springs. It has been given a white satin finish. There are three layers of stuffing - black vegetable fibre, foam and polyester which gives a firm base with a softer top. The chair has been finished with a contemporary dalmation fabric which is very dark brown (almost black) flock circles on linen which is slightly off-white (oatmeal). Finally, the edge of the chair has been finished in a silk black gimp. The chair has not been used since it was refurbished.
This is not a large chair - the dimensions are: width 55cm, height 80cm and depth 58cm so although an adult can sit in it quite comfortably it is perhaps more suitable as a bedroom chair or in a smaller reception room.
As this is a smaller chair and relatively light it can be sent by parcel post.
