Full description
Getting a diagnosis can be a long and difficult process. When I finally was given mine, I looked for an item of jewellery to commemorate it but couldn’t find anything in the UK.
One thing that I find helps to explain to people what it’s like to live with a chronic illness is The Spoon Theory* which is why I have included a mini spoon charm - so you always have a spare one on hand if needed!
The awareness colour is light blue. A perfect colour for ME, as it’s associated with healing, understanding, health and tranquillity.
The second charm is an awareness ribbon with the word hope written on it - something we all need.
This bracelet is made from light blue glass beads, faceted round beads, a blue and white crackle bead and small square beads.
It’s finished off with a silver toggle clasp. The bracelet measures 22cm.
