Full description
The bluebirds may be flying overhead, but down in the undergrowth someone small is scurrying around tending the wild flowers. It's the Gardening Mouse! He is needlefelted with my usual hand dyed Merino wool in a pretty aqua blue and embellished with flowers in fine Bluefaced Leicester yarn.
He measures around 9cm/3.5.inches to the tip of his bewhiskered nose.
Like all my designs he is completely unique and comes with a pretty beribboned gift bag.
Needlefelting is a labour intensive method of dry felting using a barbed needle which turns the soft fluffiness of carded fleece into a firm woollen sculpture.
This is a collector's item, not a toy.
