Hello Folks....
I have made a blanket or picnic rug for sunny sunbasking....forest feasts......windy wanderings....autumnal adventures or playroom parties.....
I have mixed and muddled some of my materials and hope you enjoy the combination. All new fabrics are cotton, I also recycle, reuse and try and buy secondhand to help save the planet! I have recycled and reused a candlewick bedspread for the bottom, or top if you prefer.
I really enjoyed making this.......I am not the neatest of sewers.....more rusart (rustic and artistic) than perfection....but I always make sure things are secure and not going to fall off.....I enjoy making wobbly sewing lines stand out with different coloured threads......it makes me smile!

I have sewn all the patchwork squares together and then sewn around the edge of the blanket, if you would like the back and front sewn together more i can sew a small stitch from the patchwork corners to the candlewick so the back and front are more 'together' please let me know and i can do this for you before posting. I think it is quite perfect without this, but it is on offer for anyone who prefers it :-)
