These are fantastic Fossil Coral focal gemstones, which would make gorgeous, unique features in any jewellery design you might have in mind.
I have three individual specimen pieces available, all different in shape and patternation.
The first - top of main picture, is a sphere, cut from beautifully patterned Fossil Coral.
The gem has been cut so it looks different from all angles, making a great slider focal on a simple thong or cord. It is caramel and cream in shade with subtle coral polyp stripes and almost floral patterns, depending from which angle you look at the gem.
The bead has been centrally drilled and the beading hole is 1.5mm in diameter approx.
The focal bead measures 19mm in diameter approx.
Working clock wise, there is a large oval pendant bead with highly patterned Polyp details. The coral has been beautifully preserved in this specimen and it has an almost glassy finish.
The pendant is drilled from front to back at the top, ready for you to add a bail.
The gemstone is a darker reddish colour in real life, with a lovely buff back and edges.
The pendant stone measures 46x31mm approx.
Lastly, there is a lovely round Fossil Coral Pendant Focal stone with gorgeous large Coral Polyp details.
The large corals preserved in this specimen look almost like sun bursts or flowers.
It is buff in colour with hints of warm grey and brown. Just lovely and really detailed with a smooth polish.
The gemstone is drilled from front to back at the top, ready for you to add a bail.
It measures 40mm in diameter approx.
Fossil Coral is quite hard to come by, so I am delighted to be able to bring these to you at special de-stash prices!
I am having a huge clear out of my gemstone stock to make room for new supplies. These beads are new and unused.
