Full description
This is the time of year when my thoughts always turn to the sea - the warm sea, I might add - and this necklace is inspired by the Caribbean. Two AAA undyed chalcedony briolettes are joined by a prehnite bead (the perfect chalcedony gems' murky cousin...)
The semi-precious stones hang from a lightly hammered silver ring which also contains a sterling silver bead hammered to the shape of a partial moon (over the Caribbean...).
The pendant is suspended from an 18" sterling silver chain (stamped 925 on the clasp). The chalcedony brioletes each measure approximately 14 mm x 5 mm (wrapped) and the prehnite measures approx. 15mm x 6 mm.
The total drop of the pendant is approximately 25 mm.
This is a unique one-of-a-kind necklace. In the photos you can see it with the lightly oxidised finish as well as in shiny silver - just let me know which you prefer.
The photos show the necklace in various lit settings; however I would say that the chalcedony appears as an aqua blue most often whenever I gaze upon it.
