I used to be fascinated with watching the housemartins build nests on the side of the house as a child - although they never got that far on our house as mud doesn't tend to stick to waterproof outdoor paint very well...
This item is a tiny black swallow pendant, hung on jump rings so it moves a little and attached to a pink organza ribbon and waxen cord necklace. The necklace fastens at the back with a lobster clasp and a little chain so you can alter the length a little bit.
If you would like a different coloured cord, please do let me know - I have white, lemon yellow, red, and lilac as well as the pink.
