A beautiful large polished half ammonite, which would be suitable for custom jewellery making, or crafting project.
There are two on offer, please just let me know which of the two you would like by email upon purchase.
This ammonites is one of a pair I have not got round to setting as yet, and wondered if there were any budding jewellery artisans out there looking for a small project to under take.
Equally it is lovely as it is and could be just added to a fossil collection, I have even seen ammonites set into pictures of models and figurines, I am sure there are many of you out there with plenty of imagination!
The back of this specimen have been carefully smoothed and polished, yet left as near to the natural as possible, the front has been very carefully smoothed and polished, so that it is completely flat and wonderfully tactile and allow you to see the inner beauty of the ammonite.
This is quite a large speciment measuring approximately 3.4cms in length, approx 2.7cms in width, with a depth of approx 4mms, measurements taken at the ammonite's widest points.
To safe guard this items during transit, it will come in a small protective box and padded envelope.
