"The Great Silkie of Sule Skerry" is an Orkney folk ballad related to other well-known myths of "selkies" or "seal-people". It's a beautiful, haunting story, and is adapted here alongside evocative charcoal illustrations.
Each book is hand-bound using pastel paper and linen thread, and is printed on high-quality cartridge or watercolour paper.
Note: Due to each one being handmade and availability of supplies varying, these books may be bound with black or white linen thread. If you have a preference, let us know when ordering and we'll do our best to accommodate it! :)
