Full description
This piece is a medium weight silk crepe known a chirimen. The colour is a deep terracotta and there is printed design at each end. One end has a spray of chrysanthemums and the other has both chrysanthemums and lilies. Some of the flowers are outlined in gold.
Size is 45" long x 14" wide (115 x 35cm)
All silk pieces are unpicked from vintage kimonos and are either offcuts from my wall hangings, or unsuitable for use this way. Super for smaller projects though - bags, patchwork, collage etc.
