Have a world in your ear! These little glass worlds are only about 11mm in diameter!!!
They are made with Italian Moretti (Efferte) colbalt blue glass, and then islands of real 22ct Gold are floated ontop. They are then sealed with another layer of clear glass. As the blue is transparent they really catch the light and the top layer magnifies the world beneath.
The drops are on sterling silver findings, (the earrings are stamped 925), distance from bottom of the world to top loop is around 43mm. They are very light, and the long dangle is sure to get you noticed as it moves in the light.
They are handmade by myself in my glass workshop and annealed in a microprocessor controlled kiln to improve their strength. Not one is ever the same. Sent with a tab of anti-tarnish paper to help keep the silver shiney!
Ideal present for anyone you want to give the world too.
