After much testing (and much shopping!) I have discovered the perfect bag for those unexpected shopping trips. No more guilt at realising you've left your eco bags in the car/at home these roll up so small with the help of the unique ribbon tie you can carry one with you all the time!
The special thing about these bags is the innocent looking vintage button and pink polka dot ribbon looped around one of the handles. This allows you - once your bag is folded into thirds lengthwise and rolled up - to wrap the ribbon length around the rolled bag and loop it around the button to secure it. It's amazing how small these bags roll up to - please see last picture for comparison.
This tote is made from a lovely soft toile de jouy print 100% cotton fabric in pink on a white background, featuring animals, fruit, flowers and people. It is topstitched in peach cotton and all raw edges have been finished so your bag will hold up to heavy loads without any fraying. It has rounded corners and a flat bottom to hold more and the straps are the perfect size for carrying by hand or over your shoulder.
