Each quilt I've made in these lovely fabrics has been very popular, though each quilt has been a different design & size.
This throw is 125 x 125 cm square. The fabrics are from Moda's very popular line; Aviary in shades of pink, green and blue. It features rosey florals mixed with some cheeky green gingham & leaf prints. It's definately a gardener's theme. I have trimmed the quilt in a complimentary blue and the backing is a very rich, victorian-looking print of birds on branches. It's very, very lovely.
I can imagine this as a very thoughtful Mother's Day gift for mum or gran. It's a great size for throwing over the lap, snuggling down on the sofa or just admiring across a bed or chair.
My quilts are made in my smoke-free, pet-free home.
