'Now why d'ya have to go and put stars in my eyes?'....I think that's how the song sort of went?
Anyway here we have two love birds who are so smitten with each other that they have become starry eyed. Love is a wonderful thing, don't you think?
I have made a number of simple bags with one handle/strap that is long enough to go across your body. I love designing bags but I also love designing appliques and I often get carried away with the process. So I thought if I make simple bags I can exercise my applique obsession without it all looking a bit over the top.
Hence my lovely little bag with felt hearts and birds. I have also used trims and tiny beads in my design to make it just that bit more yummy! If you look very carefully in my second photo you will see that the beads say 'Be Mine'.
My bag measures approx 23cms/9inches across X 23cms/9inches in length.
The strap measures approx 107cms/42inches in length.
It is lined in a beautiful floral cotton and fastens with velcro.
