I am thrilled with how this lovely set of postcards turned out :)
This set contains 8 each of 2 different Swallow designs - always a favourite subject. Both feature vintage illustrations of swallows - one has a line of four swallows, the other a single swallow perched on a wire fence. Both are layered over an old postcard addressed to Amsterdam that has wonderful postmarks and lovely handwriting. I have chosen two different stamps to coordinate with the red of the swallows' throats.
The postcards are printed on recycled card and are intended to be sent without an envelope. They are blank apart from the words 'Carte Postale' printed on the reverse and feint division lines.
There are 16 postcards enclosed in the tin (8 each of 2 designs) that will arrive wrapped in recycled newsprint that is hand stamped. The tin is a great size for all sorts of bits and bobs once the postcards have all been sent.
The tin is approx. 165cm x 120cm and the postcards are slightly smaller.
All in all this is a very environmentally friendly item as all parts of it are either recycled or can be reused.
