Full description
This yew wood pendant measures about 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" at its widest point. The markings are all natural, and I was delighted to see them when I 'opened up' this piece from the crotch of a little branch.
I have limited the shaping of this pendant to retain an organic feel. I do favour a finish that allows the ‘treeness’ of the material to show through rather than a glossy varnish and most of what I have on sale feature an oil and hard wax finish. I have fitted a real leather, adjustable length, thong.

It’s worth remembering that wood is the traditional gift for a fifth wedding anniversary, as well as being the modern gift for a sixth wedding anniversary!
