Full description

Putney Mouse is having a picnic in the apple orchard.

This listing is for the knitting patterns for you to knit your own Putney Mouse, basket and apples. The patterns include lots of photos to help you make your own little friend.

The pattern is my own design. It is 11 pages, printed in colour, and includes instructions, step by step construction photos and lots of finished photo shots to help you make your mouse. Please note that this is not a listing for a finished item. This listing is for the knitting patterns only.

To make your toys you need to know how to knit, purl, cast on, cast off, make increases and decreases, and knit i-cord. The pattern includes row by row instructions so you don’t forget your place. You will need to sew the finished toys together, and step by step construction photos are included in the pattern. All pieces are knitted flat on straight needles, apart from the i-cord pieces which are knitted on two double pointed needles.

The finished size of the mouse is approximately 14cm tall, and the apple approximately 6cm high.

To make your toys you will need straight knitting needles, two double pointed needles, toy stuffing (approximately 100g), and a tapestry needle to sew all the knitted pieces together. For the mouse you will need 40g wool in grey, 10g wool in beige and black wool for embroidery. For the apple 10g wool in each colour of dark green, brown and pale green. For the basket 30g chunky wool in light brown.

POSTAGE & PAYMENT

The patterns will be mailed to you by first class post within 3 working days of cleared payment, although I do endeavour to send your pattern to you as quickly as possible.

I prefer Paypal payments, but also accept personal cheques or postal orders.
