Full description
This is a 6x6" mirror in a solid wood Yew frame (approx 10x10" overall). This is made in Devon, and is crafted from local wood which is sourced less than 1 mile up the road from me.
The frame is individually made and a lot of care and attention has been put into the choice and finish of the wood. The wood is highly sanded and polished to give a lovely silky smooth finish and to bring out the full beauty of the grain.
It has all the usual characteristics of Yew wood with contrasting streaks and, although relatively small at 10" square, stands out admirably when hung in place. I'm afraid the picture just doesn't do it justice! The actual colour is closer to the 1st picture.
It may be possible for me to make a similar frame to custom fit a mirror or picture to suit your requirements (although, please bear in mind large mirrors are very expensive!), please contact me for more details or with any questions.
