Full description
In it's past life this was the favourite sweater of a work colleague. She took an interest in my knitted felted bags and having ruined the sweater in the wash, asked if I could make use of it.
Unable to get any inspiration from the sweater in one piece, I cut it up and then put it back together upside down, with the deep ribbing at the top! The plain section of the sleeves made a huge rose which embellishes the front of the bag. I have lined the bag in an interesting cotton print and added an inside pocket.
Made in a very soft wool with a little cashmere and a tiny percentage of synthetic fibre,it is very soft to touch and the oatmeal color goes with any outfit.
Dimensions: Height 13", handles 6" drop, width 12".
I love the idea of giving a new life to an old sweater. I hope you like the result.
